What used to be the Outstanding Paper Award is now the Young Scientist Award. This award honors outstanding scientific publications of the past year. However, the new name is intended to emphasize that these publications are above all an expression of the special achievements of young, talented scientists from the institute.

This year, Farida Hellal and Hubert Eichner receive the Young Scientist Award, endowed with 1000 Euros.
